On March 3, we celebrate the most sacred date in the Bulgarian calendar. On this day in 1878, the peace treaty was signed in the city of San Stefano, which put an end to the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation and returned Bulgaria to the map of Europe.

After nearly five centuries, the dream of generations of revivalists, enlighteners and revolutionaries is becoming a reality. March 3 is not just a historical event, but a symbol of the triumph of the Bulgarian spirit and the unwavering will for freedom, forged in the battles of Shipka, Pleven and Stara Zagora.

Today, bowing to the memory of the fallen heroes, we remember that freedom is a responsibility. Let us keep their legacy and build the future of our country with dignity.
